We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PDI Technician to conduct pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles and ensure they meet quality and safety standards before delivery to customers. The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge of automobiles and the ability to identify and rectify minor issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new vehicles as per company standards.
- Check vehicle mechanical, electrical, and safety systems before delivery.
- Inspect vehicle accessories, fluids, battery condition, tyre pressure, and overall vehicle appearance.
- Identify and rectify minor defects or coordinate with the service team for necessary repairs.
- Ensure all PDI checklists and related documentation are completed accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicles for customer delivery.
- Report any quality concerns or discrepancies to the concerned supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines during inspections.
Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 0–2 years of experience as a PDI Technician, Service Technician, or Automobile Mechanic.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, electrical systems, and automotive components.
- Ability to use inspection tools and follow technical procedures.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driving license preferred.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
