The Senior Engineering Manager (AI Builder) leads the strategy, design, delivery, and operation of enterprise software and AI-powered solutions. This role is responsible for building high-performing engineering teams, driving innovation through Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, and intelligent platforms, while ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions that deliver measurable business value. The role acts as a bridge between business strategy, engineering execution, and AI transformation initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:

Lead multiple engineering teams in the design, development, deployment, and support of software and AI-enabled products and platforms

Define technology roadmaps, architecture strategies, and engineering best practices aligned to business objectives

Drive adoption of AI technologies including Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, intelligent automation, and enterprise AI platforms

Ensure delivery excellence through quality engineering, reliability, performance optimization, observability, security, and operational readiness

Partner with product, business, and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can improve customer experience, efficiency, and outcomesEstablish and monitor key engineering and AI success metrics, ensuring

Champion responsible AI practices, including model evaluation, bias assessment, governance, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance

Mentor and develop engineering leaders and team members, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and collaboration

Drive automation, productivity improvements, and continuous process optimisation across the software development lifecycle

Stay current with emerging technology and AI trends, evaluating and implementing innovative solutions that create competitive advantage
