Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients' health conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments safely.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and infection prevention practices.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge care.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and clinical deterioration.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical nursing practices.
- Comply with hospital policies, quality standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Participate in continuing education and competency programs.
- Perform duties as assigned based on departmental requirements.
Clinical Skills
- Comprehensive Patient Assessment, Medication Administration, IV Cannulation & Venipuncture, Wound Care & Dressing, Vital Signs Monitoring, Specimen Collection, Pain Assessment & Management, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred for critical care areas), Infection Prevention & Control, Biomedical Waste Management, Emergency Response, Documentation & Record Keeping, Patient Education, Clinical Decision-Making
Qualifications
- Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Current BLS Certification (mandatory).
- ACLS Certification (preferred for ICU, Emergency, OT, and Critical Care areas).
Experience
- Freshers or experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Relevant specialty experience may be required for critical care or specialty departments.
Salary:
INR 10,000/- to INR 20,000/- based on the experience & skills
