Role Context This role sits at the front of the cyber security growth engine.
You will be responsible for creating opportunities, leading early client conversations, understanding real requirements, and ensuring only well-qualified deals move forward.
You are not expected to be deeply technical, but you are expected to be sharp, structured, and able to quickly connect client problems to the right solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & Pipeline Building o Generate new business opportunities through outreach, networking, events, and referrals o Convert inbound interest into meaningful conversations o Build and maintain a strong, relevant pipeline 2. Client Engagement & Requirement Understanding o Conduct discovery calls to understand: ▪ Business challenges ▪ Security posture and awareness ▪ Compliance or audit requirements o Ask the right questions to uncover actual needs and intent 3. Solution Positioning & Qualification o Map client requirements to relevant service offerings o Qualify opportunities based on: ▪ Budget ▪ Decision-makers ▪ Timeline and urgency o Position offerings in terms of business value and outcomes. 4. Client Presentations & Follow-ups o Deliver structured presentations tailored to the client o Handle initial queries and coordinate internally for deeper inputs o Drive follow-ups to maintain deal momentum 5. Coordination & Handover o Work closely with inside sales and consulting teams o Document requirements clearly and completely o Ensure smooth transition of qualified opportunities for closure 6. CRM & Pipeline Management o Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and pipeline o Track progress and ensure consistent movement of opportunities Key Skills & Competencies Communication & Business Skills o Strong communication and presentation skills o Ability to guide conversations and influence outcomes o Understanding of B2B sales cycles Analytical Ability o Fast learner with the ability to understand cyber security offerings quickly o Strong listening and requirement-mapping skills o Structured approach to qualification Work Style o High ownership and accountability o Organized and process-driven o Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
Experience & Qualifications 1–4 years of experience in pre-sales, business development, or client-facing roles Experience in IT/services industry preferred
Cyber security exposure is a plus, not mandatory Certifications are not required KPIs / Success Metrics Qualified leads generated Lead-to-opportunity conversion rate
