We are looking for a creative, experienced, and detail-oriented Architect to lead residential projects from initial concept through design development and execution. The ideal candidate should have strong architectural and technical knowledge, excellent communication and client-handling skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Residential Design & Concept Development: Develop innovative and functional architectural concepts for residential projects based on client requirements, site conditions, budget, and project objectives.
Architectural Drawings & Documentation: Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, working drawings, and construction documentation using AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
Client Coordination: Understand client requirements, present design concepts, incorporate feedback, and maintain effective communication throughout the project.
Consultant & Team Coordination: Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior, landscape, and other consultants to ensure all design elements are properly integrated.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure architectural designs comply with applicable building codes, local development regulations, zoning requirements, and permit guidelines.
Site Visits & Execution Support: Conduct regular site inspections, monitor work against approved drawings, and provide technical solutions and clarifications to the execution team.
Design & Quality Control: Review drawings, materials, finishes, and construction details to ensure the project meets required design standards and quality expectations.
Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, contractors, engineers, and site teams to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of project milestones.
Problem Solving: Identify design or construction-related issues at site and provide practical, cost-effective, and technically appropriate solutions.
Timeline & Deliverable Management: Manage design deliverables, drawing submissions, revisions, and approvals according to project schedules.
Client Satisfaction: Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and ensure their expectations are effectively addressed throughout the project.
Team Leadership: Guide junior architects and designers, review their work, and ensure consistency and accuracy across project documentation.
Requirements:
B.Arch degree (COA registration preferred).
Minimum 3 years of experience in residential architecture.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Strong communication, presentation, and project coordination skills.
Knowledge of local building rules and permit procedures.
Location: Candidates must be based in Kochi or willing to relocate before joining
