Job Description – Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Reports to: Head R&D, Pune
Position’s overall objective
We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our Global R&D team. Reporting to R&D head, this role will be responsible for the Development of embedded SW solutions to control and monitor power electronic devices, in direct connection with the R&D team in Europe.
Interested Candidate shall be with a solid background in embedded development (C/C++) and who thrives in a role stretching from programming to system engineering. The desired profile is skilled in all the parts of the task, particularly
Experience in modernizing development environments (e.g. Git, automated builds, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, AI). Interest in improving and maintaining the methodology aiming to productivity and quality.
Strong sense of software architecture and understanding of the benefits of modularity in a product portfolio.
Can translate complex technical requirements into concrete solutions.
Aware of the importance of proper technical documentation.
Competence in control and regulation technology.
Very appreciated the experience in power electronics.
The work is carried out in an improved environment based on DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Embedded Software Programming:
· Programming (C/C++) of advanced microcontrollers (32bit STM in particular) based embedded systems for the Industrial switched power electronics converters. (Frequency 20 - 200KHz)
· Programming of Loops to control the operation of the modules, such as voltage/current/frequency regulation.
· Monitor the correct operation and identification of run-time functional deviations (through sensors and secondary nodes).
· Data logging.
· Local connectivity (internal to the device or network of devices).
· Basic HMI programming (physical interfaces and simple graphical LCDs).
· Overall system architecture.
. Remote connectivity.
. 2. Testing
. Testing of the developed code, verifying and validating the solutions
. Debugging by probes and measurement on physical samples using measuring tools in the laboratory and on a case-by-case basis in the field.
. 3. Documentation
. Carry out project documentation such as flowcharts, algorithms, commented code, debugging instructions, technical manuals, etc.
. Requirements Education:
. Graduated/Post-Graduated in Computer science / Electronics / Electronics and telecommunication / Electrical / Power Electronics Engineering.
. Experience:
. +6 Years- Proven experience in Embedded Software Programming (C/C++), particularly in Switched Power Electronics Converters, rectifiers, inverters etc.
. Strong understanding and experience of Modular Power electronic Products such as Rectifiers, UPS, Drives, EV chargers, etc.
. Experience in 32 bit microcontroller programming is must.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
