Job Summary
We are looking for a highly competent and experienced Project Manager (Civil) to lead the execution of hospitality, commercial, residential, and high-rise building projects from inception to successful completion. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Candidates with experience in hotel construction, commercial developments, residential apartments, and high-rise buildings are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities & Skills Required
- Lead and manage construction projects from planning through execution, monitoring, commissioning, and handover.
- Develop detailed project execution plans, construction schedules, resource plans, and project milestones.
- Prepare, review, and monitor project schedules using MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent scheduling software.
- Coordinate and supervise civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and coordinate MEP drawings and services to avoid site conflicts and ensure proper integration with civil works.
- Prepare, review, and verify BOQs, estimates, work orders, and contractor bills.
- Monitor project budgets, cash flow, cost control, and value engineering initiatives.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and statutory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, Kerala Municipal Building Rules (KMBR), National Building Code (NBC), safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitor site progress, productivity, material consumption, and labour deployment.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure work is executed as per approved standards.
- Manage procurement planning and ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical approvals.
- Conduct project review meetings and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to management.
- Identify project risks, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
- Ensure timely project completion within approved budget and schedule.
- Lead and mentor site engineers, supervisors, quantity surveyors, and project support staff.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of RCC, finishing works, waterproofing, façade works, and interior fit-outs.
- Sound understanding of MEP systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, electrical, ELV, STP, WTP, DG sets, lifts, and utility coordination.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity verification, rate analysis, estimation, and contractor billing.
- Proficiency in project scheduling, planning, progress monitoring, and resource allocation.
- Good knowledge of procurement planning, material management, and vendor coordination.
- Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and construction safety practices.
- Familiarity with contracts, tendering processes, project documentation, and statutory approvals.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
- 7–10 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience in hotel, commercial, residential, and high-rise building projects.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience in four-star or five-star hotel projects.
- Experience in multi-storey residential apartment developments.
- Knowledge of KMBR, NBC, IS Codes, and local authority approval processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Experience managing projects from foundation through finishing and final handover.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
