Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join our machine manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality TIG welding on a variety of machine components, ensuring precision, durability, and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel, mild steel, and other metals used in machine manufacturing.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Set up and operate welding machines, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure welded parts meet dimensional accuracy, strength, and quality requirements.
- Conduct visual inspection and quality checks of completed welds.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Collaborate with fitters, machinists, and quality teams for smooth production.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of TIG welding techniques and procedures.
- Ability to weld thin sheets and precision components with accuracy.
- Familiarity with various welding positions (2G, 3G, 6G preferred).
- Hands-on experience with grinding, finishing, and polishing welded joints.
- Good understanding of safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility:
- Qualification: ITI Welder (mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in machine manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy engineering industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
