Senior Video Editor
Experience: Min 5+ Years | Age: 30–40 Years | Team Size: 3–4 Members | Full-Time
About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative, technically strong, and experienced Video Editor & AI Creative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing, team supervision, task allocation, workflow coordination, quality inspection, deadline management, and performance monitoring while continuously introducing smarter AI-based solutions into the video production process.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
Independently handle high-quality professional video editing from AI generated to final delivery.
Create engaging short-form and long-form video content. Demonstrate strong understanding of AI Handle education editing projects and urgent requirements while maintaining professional quality. Take ownership of projects from briefing to final delivery. Ensure all videos are aligned with creative direction, brand guidelines, and project objectives.
AI Tools & AI-Powered Video Production
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of multiple AI tools. To improve editing speed, creativity, automation, scripting, subtitles, voiceovers, visuals, effects, and production workflows. To increase team efficiency and reduce turnaround time
Train and guide team members in the effective use of AI-powered creative tools.
Develop efficient AI-assisted editing workflows turnaround time.
Video Editing Software Expertise
Strong proficiency in professional video editing and creative software is required, including relevant tools such as:
Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe After Effects
Adobe Photoshop
Professional motion graphics, compositing, audio, color grading, and post-production workflows
Knowledge of additional creative and AI platforms will be considered a strong advantage.
Team Leadership & Supervision
Productivity & Deadline Management
Establish and monitor individual and team productivity targets.
Ensure projects are completed according to agreed deadlines and priorities.
Track workload, turnaround time, pending tasks, revisions, and final deliveries.
Identify bottlenecks and take corrective action before deadlines are affected.
Optimize editing workflows to improve speed, efficiency, and output quality.
Maintain accountability for both personal deliverables and overall team performance.
Quality Control & Final Inspection
Conduct detailed quality checks and inspections of videos created by the team.
Ensure every final video meets required creative and technical standards.
Review:
o Video quality
o Storytelling and pacing
o Audio and voice quality
o Subtitles and captions
o Transitions and effects
o Motion graphics
o Color correction/grading
o Branding and typography
o Formatting and platform specifications
· Identify errors and ensure corrections are completed before final delivery.
· Establish consistent quality standards across the entire editing team.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate closely with Management, Content, Creative, Design, Marketing, and other relevant teams.
Clearly communicate project requirements, priorities, feedback, and deadlines.
Ensure smooth coordination between editors and other departments.
Provide regular updates on project progress and team productivity.
Escalate critical issues, resource requirements, or potential delays to management.
