Job Summary
The Industrial Sales & Channel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through direct industrial sales and development of channel partner networks. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing distributors and dealers, and achieving sales targets across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities1. Industrial Sales
Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial sectors such as manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemicals, chemicals, power plants, infrastructure, and construction.
Generate leads and convert them into long-term industrial customers.
Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and demonstrations with plant managers, purchase heads, and safety officers.
Commercial proposals, tenders, and quotations prepared and Submit
Negotiate pricing and close sales deals.
Maintain strong relationships with key industrial clients.
2. Channel Sales Management
Develop and expand distributor, dealer, and system integrator networks.
Identify potential channel partners and onboard them.
Train channel partners on product portfolio, sales strategy, and technical features.
Monitor distributor performance and ensure sales targets are achieved.
Support channel partners in lead generation, joint sales visits, and project execution.
3. Business Development
Explore new markets, industries, and territories for business expansion.
Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Participate in trade exhibitions, seminars, and industry events.
Work with marketing teams to develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
4. Sales Operations
Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
Ensure timely order processing, delivery coordination, and payment collection.
Maintain CRM records of customers and channel partners.
Required Skills
Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills
Knowledge of industrial markets and procurement processes
Ability to manage distributor and dealer networks
Technical understanding of industrial products
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / BSc
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in industrial or B2B sales
Experience managing channel partners and industrial clients
