Tarang Arts is a premium destination for handcrafted home décor, traditional Indian art, wooden swings (Jhulas), Tanjore paintings, sculptures, brass décor, antique collections, and exclusive gifting products. We are looking for energetic and customer-focused Store Sales Executives who are passionate about sales and creating exceptional shopping experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Experience
- Welcome customers with a warm and professional approach.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable handicrafts, wooden swings (Jhulas), Tanjore paintings, sculptures, and home décor products.
- Explain product craftsmanship, materials, heritage, and unique features.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through excellent customer service.
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to maximize sales.
Product Knowledge
- Develop in-depth knowledge of all products, artists, and collections.
- Stay updated on new arrivals, festive collections, and exclusive pieces.
- Guide customers in selecting products suitable for homes, offices, gifting, and interior decoration.
Store Visual Merchandising
- Maintain attractive product displays and showroom presentation.
- Ensure products are displayed neatly and safely.
- Assist in visual merchandising according to seasonal themes and promotions.
Billing & Store Operations
- Handle billing, cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
- Assist in inventory management, stock counting, and replenishment.
- Coordinate with the warehouse for stock availability and customer orders.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and premium ambience.
Customer Relationship
- Build long-term relationships with customers.
- Follow up with customers for pending orders and special requests.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure complete satisfaction.
- Encourage repeat purchases and referrals.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in retail sales, furniture, handicrafts, home décor, art galleries, premium lifestyle products, jewellery, or luxury retail.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Kannada (Hindi is an added advantage).
- Passion for sales and customer service.
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on weekends and holidays as per retail schedules.
- Basic computer knowledge and billing software experience preferred.

- Interest in Indian arts, handicrafts, and interior décor.
- Excellent presentation and grooming.
- Ability to understand customer preferences and recommend suitable products.
