Job Title: Showroom Manager – Furniture
Job Summary:
The Showroom Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the furniture showroom, driving sales growth, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, inventory control, and maintaining high visual merchandising standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for purchasing and marketing the furniture products
· Manage day-to-day showroom operations efficiently
· Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to maximize productivity
· Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalations professionally
· Plan and implement sales strategies, promotions, and marketing activities
· Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams
· Maintain showroom layout, product displays, and visual merchandising standards
· Control expenses and optimize operational costs
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Education / Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field
· 3–7 years of experience in retail sales,purchase preferably in furniture or home décor
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role
· Strong knowledge of retail operations, purchase, sales & marketing techniques.
· Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications (MS Excel, billing software)
· Good communication skills
