Safety Officer / Safety Engineer
Location: Project Sites (Varies)
Office Location: Hinjewadi Phase 1, Pune
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Safety Officer/Safety Engineer in construction or interior fit-out projects.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory: Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (DIS/ADIS) or an equivalent recognized Safety qualification.
- Preferred: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or other internationally recognized EHS certifications.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage all EHS documentation, including:
- Risk Assessment (RA)
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Work Method Statements (WMS)
- Permit to Work (PTW)
- Daily Safety Reports
- Safety Inspection Checklists
- Incident & Near-Miss Reports
- Toolbox Talk (TBT) Records
- Ensure compliance with all client and company EHS policies, procedures, and statutory safety regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and promptly address unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
- Organize safety inductions and regular toolbox talks for all site personnel.
- Monitor PPE usage and ensure 100% compliance across the site.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire safety, and first-aid arrangements.
- Investigate incidents and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare and submit accurate safety reports and documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with site engineers, contractors, and client representatives to maintain a safe work environment.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of EHS standards, OSHA guidelines, and applicable statutory safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Professional attitude with a disciplined and proactive approach.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
- Travel expenses will be reimbursement or Accommodation support will be provided for projects located at distant sites, as applicable.

The Safety Officer/Safety Engineer will be responsible for maintaining complete EHS documentation, ensuring strict compliance with safety standards, proactively identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, and fostering a safe and compliant working environment across all project sites.
