Job Summary
Fresh Pet Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Production Manager – Husky Machines to lead and manage production operations of PET Preform manufacturing. The ideal candidate should possess extensive hands-on experience in operating and managing Husky Injection Moulding Machines, production planning, process optimization, manpower management, quality control, and productivity improvement.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, achieving production targets, minimizing wastage, maintaining quality standards, and maximizing machine efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end production activities related to Husky Injection Moulding Machines.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Monitor machine performance, cycle times, productivity, and overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
- Optimize machine parameters and production processes to maximize output and reduce rejection.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Stores, and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor raw material consumption and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- Analyze production losses, machine downtime, and process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and supervise production teams, shift supervisors, and machine operators.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost control.
- Maintain production reports, MIS, and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Support new mould trials, process development, and production improvement projects.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Polymer, Plastics, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8–9 years of experience in PET Preform manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Husky Injection Moulding Machines is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of PET resin processing, moulding parameters, troubleshooting, and production management.
- Experience in handling production teams and shift operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Mandatory Requirement
Hands-on experience with Husky Injection Moulding Machines is compulsory.
Candidates without relevant Husky machine experience will not be considered for this position.
Preferred Industry Experience
PET Preform Manufacturing Industry experience is mandatory.
