Job Profile: Computer Operator – Fabric & M2M SectionPosition Overview
Responsible for managing digital records, inventory entries, and operational data related to fabric procurement, storage, and usage, as well as customer‑specific Made to Measure (M2M) orders. Ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting to support production, customization, and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Fabric Section
- Enter purchase, issue, and consumption details into ERP/Excel systems.
- Maintain digital logs of stock levels, batch numbers, and vendor details.
- Generate daily/weekly reports on fabric inflow and outflow.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records to flag discrepancies.
- Prepare audit‑ready sheets for statutory and management review.
M2M Section
- Record customer measurements, style preferences, and order details in system.
- Maintain digital files for each client order, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Track fabric allocation for M2M orders, linking consumption to specific jobs.
- Generate production sheets for tailoring staff with clear measurement data.
- Monitor order status (entry, cutting, stitching, finishing, delivery) in ERP/Excel.
- Prepare weekly reports on pending, completed, and delayed M2M orders.
- Support customer service team with quick retrieval of order details.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail in both inventory and measurement data.
- Knowledge of fabric types, codes, and tailoring processes.
- Ability to prepare clear, audit‑friendly reports for management.
- Communication skills for coordination with vendors, tailoring staff, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce/Computer Applications or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory or tailoring/M2M operations preferred.
- Familiarity with textile/fabric terminology and tailoring measurements is an advantage.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
