Job Overview
Genesis International School is seeking a responsible and experienced Warden cum Sports Teacher to supervise hostel students and manage sports and physical education activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, disciplined, and supportive hostel environment while encouraging students to participate in sports and fitness activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the safety, security, and overall well-being of hostel students.
- Maintain discipline and support a structured daily routine within the hostel.
- Monitor students' attendance, study hours, meals, recreational activities, and bedtime routines.
- Listen to students' concerns and provide appropriate guidance and support.
- Coordinate with teachers, school management, and parents regarding student-related matters.
- Plan and conduct sports, games, fitness, and physical education activities.
- Encourage students to participate in indoor and outdoor sports.
- Organize sports events, competitions, and fitness programs.
- Maintain appropriate records related to student activities and hostel routines.
- Ensure hostel rules, safety procedures, and school policies are followed.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in a school, boarding school, residential school, hostel, or similar environment.
- Experience in sports, physical education, student supervision, or hostel management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good leadership and student management abilities.
- Responsible, disciplined, caring, and organized approach to work.
- Ability to manage hostel supervision responsibilities along with sports and physical education activities.
- Relevant qualifications in Physical Education, Sports, or a related field will be preferred.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month, based on experience and suitability.
