Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Fund Operations Analyst with 5–8 years of experience in fund accounting, investor allocations, or middle office operations. In this role, you will be responsible for processing investor capital transactions, tracking commitments, and allocating P&L across fund structures at the investor account level. You will play a key part in ensuring accuracy and timeliness in investor reporting and NAV reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Accounting & Reporting
Oversee quarterly and annual fund financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and limited partnership agreements.
Review fund NAV calculations, capital calls, and distributions prepared by the fund administrator.
Ensure accurate waterfall, carried interest, and management fee calculations.
Consolidate portfolio-level financial data for fund-level reporting.
Audit, Tax & Compliance
Manage annual fund audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
Review tax returns, K-1s, and other tax deliverables prepared by external tax advisors.
Ensure compliance with SEC, and other regulatory reporting requirements as applicable.
Internal Controls & Process Improvements
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
Identify and implement process efficiencies within fund accounting and reporting.
Support the implementation of new financial systems and reporting tools.
Team Collaboration
Partner with portfolio operations, deal teams, and treasury functions to ensure alignment across financial data.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance professionals within the team.
Required Qualifications
5–8 years of experience in private equity fund accounting
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong understanding of complex private equity structures, partnership accounting, and fund economics.
Proficiency with fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran, eFront, or equivalent).
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
