- Programming & Setup: Load CAD/CAM files, input machine parameters (feed, speed, cut), and secure materials.
- Machine Operation: Run cutting sequences, oversee tool paths, and perform test runs to ensure accuracy.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products using calipers and gauges to verify they meet exact design specifications.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to read blueprints and 2D/3D technical drawings.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (such as Artcam or similar packages) and G-code.
- Math & Mechanics: Good understanding of geometry and mechanics for precise measurements.
- Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to workplace safety regulations and proper material handling.
