Job Description:
The Naval Architect is responsible for preparing and analyzing technical documentation related to vessel and berth compatibility, mooring analysis, and marine operational studies. The role involves conducting Optimoor analyses, preparing technical reports and drawings, supporting compatibility assessments, and assisting with daily operational activities to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare berth files and vessel files for project execution.
- Perform Optimoor mooring analysis for various vessel and terminal configurations.
- Prepare comprehensive Optimoor analysis reports.
- Develop Ship-to-Shore Compatibility Letters (SSCL) and related documentation.
- Prepare hose length and hose touching water drawings.
- Create manifold connection drawings.
- Prepare crane outreach drawings for various operational scenarios.
- Develop technical drawings required for vessel and terminal compatibility assessments.
- Prepare drawings and documentation for BASIL studies.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and project documentation.
- Support day-to-day operational activities and project coordination.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Assist in handling operational interruptions and support ongoing project requirements.
- Maintain proper records of project files, drawings, and reports.
- Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements while executing assigned work.
Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of naval architecture and marine engineering principles.
- Familiarity with Optimoor software and mooring analysis.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and vessel data.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to work.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience:
- 0–3 years of experience in naval architecture, mooring analysis, vessel compatibility studies, or a related marine engineering field. Fresh graduates with relevant academic projects or internships may also apply.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
