We are looking for a qualified Pedodontist (Pediatric Dentist) to join our multidisciplinary paediatric healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for providing preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic dental care for infants, children, and adolescents in a child-friendly clinical environment.
The role involves managing pediatric dental conditions, guiding parents on oral health practices, and collaborating with paediatricians and other specialists to ensure comprehensive child healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions in infants, children, and adolescents
- Perform preventive dental procedures such as fluoride applications, sealants, and oral hygiene guidance
- Manage dental caries, pulp therapy, extractions, and minor dental procedures
- Provide behavior management and child-friendly dental care
- Manage dental trauma and emergency dental cases in children
Patient Education
- Educate parents and caregivers on child oral hygiene practices
- Provide guidance on feeding habits, teething issues, and preventive dental care
- Promote awareness on early dental checkups and cavity prevention
Clinical Coordination
- Collaborate with paediatricians and other specialists for comprehensive child healthcare
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation
- Follow infection control protocols and dental safety guidelines
Preventive & Community Programs
- Participate in dental awareness camps and school health programs
- Support child health initiatives and community outreach activities
- Contribute to patient education programs at the centre
Eligibility CriteriaEducation
- BDS with MDS in Pedodontics / Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry
Experience
- 0 – 5 years experience in pediatric dental practice
- Freshers with strong clinical interest in pediatric dentistry may also apply

- Excellent communication and child behaviour management skills
- Strong clinical decision-making ability
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary paediatric healthcare environment
