Role summary
Customer-embedded technical leader who turns executive goals into shipped Workday outcomes. Own the Workday Integration delivery layer and drive secure, observable production deployments across Workday HCM/FINS, envisions and deploys Agent AI and Gen AI solutions
What you'll do
Define integration roadmaps and align with the organization s broader IT strategy partner with CIO/Enterprise Architecture to ensure Workday integrations fit the target architecture and middleware strategy.
Own the end to end integration architecture connecting Workday with enterprise and third party platforms
Lead complex builds using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, Cloud Connect, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP)
Coordinate tightly with HCM/Payroll/Finance functional leads, integration developers, reporting teams, data conversion, and analytics (e.g., Prism) to ensure cohesive, end to end solutions.
Mentor teams codify reusable reference architectures, templates, and runbooks.
Prerequisite — Agentic AI & GenAI
Develop and maintain integrations roadmaps aligned with enterprise AI strategies and Workday s evolving AI platform.
Deliver advanced integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, and Workday Web Services, while augmenting logic with agentic workflows.
Build agentic workflows that do real work: connected to Workday HCM/FINS via Workday Integrations and Workday Extend
Establish enterprise guardrails: Ensure all integrations—including those leveraging AI—adhere to security, privacy, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOX, HIPAA).
Lead optimization initiatives where AI insights improve throughput, reduce manual interventions, and reduce integration operational costs.

Deep hands-on expertise in Workday Integration and production operations.
Security leadership using Workday Security
Able to influence CXO decisions with clear trade-offs on risk, value, and timelines.

Deep: Workday Integrations (Studio/Core connectors/Payroll Connectors/EIB/API/Web Services) Workday Security Cross-module Integration touchpoints across the Workday modules.
Breadth: Workday Core HCM/FINS plus modules adopted by the client: Payroll, Time Management, Absence, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Accounting Center, Procurement
