About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager with prior experience or educational background in the healthcare domain. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the healthcare industry.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, meetings and industry references.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, doctors, healthcare brands, pharmaceutical companies and allied healthcare businesses.
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable business solutions/services.
- Prepare presentations, proposals and business pitches for prospective clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and execution of projects.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Attend healthcare events, exhibitions, conferences and networking meets when required.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and client servicing to ensure long-term associations.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.
- Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
- Strong presentation and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is preferred.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Servicing or Marketing.
- Candidates with experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, diagnostics, medical devices, wellness brands or healthcare marketing will be preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, Pharmacy or related fields preferred.
Preferred Qualities
- Existing network within the healthcare industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of B2B business development processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary
As per industry standards + Incentives based on performance.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
