About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to lead procurement and sourcing activities for the High Street/Retail business vertical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and onboarding vendors, negotiating commercial agreements, managing supplier relationships, and driving strategic sourcing initiatives. This role requires strong market intelligence, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective, high-quality procurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for the High Street/Retail category
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors and supplier partnerships
- Lead commercial negotiations to achieve optimal pricing, quality, delivery, and contractual terms
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers and business partners
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and deliver timely sourcing solutions
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, supplier capabilities, pricing benchmarks, and new sourcing opportunities
- Manage category sourcing plans while ensuring cost optimization without compromising quality
- Monitor supplier performance through defined KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare sourcing reports, spend analysis, and recommendations for management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, category management, or vendor management
- Strong expertise in vendor negotiations, supplier relationship management, and strategic sourcing
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes, sourcing methodologies, and contract management
- Proven experience in market analysis, supplier evaluation, and cost optimization
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with procurement systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the High Street Retail, Retail, Commercial Leasing, or Real Estate industry
- Familiarity with strategic sourcing frameworks and spend management
- Knowledge of vendor risk assessment and supplier performance management
Pay: ₹295,952.87 - ₹1,174,563.64 per year
