Job Summary:
Merlis Hotels Coimbatore is looking for a dedicated and service-oriented In-Room Dining (IRD) Associate to deliver exceptional dining experiences to guests in their rooms. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take and process in-room dining orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare trays and trolleys according to hotel standards.
- Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and professionally.
- Set up and clear trays/trolleys from guest rooms as required.
- Ensure all orders are served with the correct accompaniments and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the IRD service area and equipment.
- Coordinate with the Kitchen and Front Office to ensure timely service.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements courteously.
- Follow hotel SOPs, HACCP, and food safety standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management preferred.
- 3 years of experience in In-Room Dining, Restaurant, or Food & Beverage Service in a reputed hotel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude with a guest-centric approach.
- Experience in a 5-star hotel is preferred.
- Knowledge of the regional language (Tamil) is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,967.19 - ₹37,140.28 per month
