We're looking for an experienced YouTube & Social Media Strategist who has a proven track record of growing digital brands through content strategy, audience psychology, and platform expertise.
You will be responsible for building and executing data-driven growth strategies across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X, helping our brands reach millions of users organically. If you understand why videos go viral, know how platform algorithms work, and can turn analytics into actionable growth plans, we'd love to hear from you.
Key ResponsibilitiesYouTube Strategy
- Develop long-term YouTube growth strategies.
- Build content roadmaps based on audience demand and search trends.
- Plan high-retention video structures.
- Optimize titles, thumbnails, descriptions, chapters, playlists, and metadata.
- Improve CTR, audience retention, watch time, and subscriber conversion.
- Develop strategies for both Shorts and Long-form content.
- Analyze competitors and identify content gaps.
- Create scalable publishing strategies.
Social Media Strategy
- Develop growth strategies for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and emerging platforms.
- Create monthly content strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify viral trends before competitors.
- Plan organic growth campaigns.
- Build audience engagement strategies.
- Improve reach, impressions, saves, shares, and follower growth.
- Coordinate cross-platform content distribution.
Analytics & Performance
- Monitor YouTube Studio, Meta Insights, Google Analytics, and third-party tools.
- Identify winning and underperforming content.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Recommend actionable improvements backed by data.
- Track KPIs including:
- CTR
- Average View Duration
- Audience Retention
- Watch Time
- Subscriber Growth
- Engagement Rate
- Reach
- Impressions
- Conversion Rate
Content Planning
- Research trending topics daily.
- Generate high-potential content ideas.
- Plan publishing calendars.
- Work closely with scriptwriters, designers, editors, and anchors.
- Ensure every piece of content aligns with the overall growth strategy.
Competitor Research
Regularly analyze competitors to identify:
- Viral formats
- Thumbnail styles
- Hook strategies
- Content gaps
- Posting frequency
- Audience behavior
- Emerging trends
Translate research into actionable recommendations.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate closely with:
- Video Editors
- Graphic Designers
- Script Writers
- Anchors
- Marketing Team
- Founders
Provide strategic direction throughout the content production process.
Required Skills
- 3–6+ years of experience in YouTube growth, digital marketing, or social media strategy.
- Proven experience growing YouTube channels and social media pages organically.
- Strong understanding of YouTube and Instagram algorithms.
- Excellent knowledge of audience psychology and content performance.
- Experience with YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and SEO tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience growing channels to 500k+ subscribers or managing high-growth brands.
- Understanding of YouTube SEO.
- Experience with A/B testing thumbnails and titles.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content ideation and workflow optimization.
- Knowledge of creator economy trends and platform updates.
- Experience in news, education, or informational content is a plus.
