- Operate lathe machines (conventional / CNC – if applicable)
- Perform machining of pump components such as shafts, sleeves, bushes, and impellers
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish
- Use measuring instruments like Vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge
- Perform thread cutting, facing, turning, drilling, and finishing operations
- Ensure proper machine setup, tooling, and cutting parameters
- Follow safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with production and quality teams
