Key Responsibilities1. Financial Management
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll)
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance
- Ensure proper cost control and expense management
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
3. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and company policies
- Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
- Handle VAT, GST, or other applicable tax filings
4. Financial Reporting
- Prepare MIS reports for management decision-making
- Present financial performance reports to senior leadership
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting
5. Internal Controls
- Establish and maintain strong internal control systems
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to company financial procedures
6. Team Management
- Lead and supervise the finance and accounts team
- Allocate tasks and monitor performance
- Train and develop team members
7. Banking & Treasury
- Manage banking relationships and transactions
- Handle fund transfers, LC, BG, and other financial instruments
- Optimize cash utilization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce
- CA / CMA / ACCA / MBA Finance (preferred)
Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in finance & accounts
- Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial role
- Experience in industries like Oil & Gas / Engineering / Construction preferred
