Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment, including motors, control circuits, and PLCs.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing tools and repair/replace faulty components promptly to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all machinery and systems comply with environmental regulations, electrical codes, and safety standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and technical data in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and logbooks.
- Operational Optimization: Identify improvements in electrical systems based on historical failure data to increase efficiency.
- Inventory Control: Monitor spare parts availability, procure necessary components, and maintain stock levels.
- Coordination: Collaborate with production teams and contractors to ensure maintenance activities do not conflict with production schedules.
Qualifications
- License : Must be "C" License Holder.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, often 3–7+ years, particularly in industrial, manufacturing, or power plant environments.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, variable speed drives, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Diagnostic Skills: Ability to interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to lead or work within a team
