ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) Instrumentation Technician is responsible for maintaining and monitoring instruments and control systems used in wastewater and effluent treatment processes to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
Job Description – ETP Instrumentation Technician
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot instruments used in ETP systems.
- Monitor and maintain sensors such as pH, flow, pressure, level, conductivity, and temperature transmitters.
- Maintain control panels, PLC, SCADA, VFD, and automation systems.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of field instruments and analyzers.
- Ensure proper functioning of pumps, valves, dosing systems, and control loops.
- Read and interpret P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Maintain calibration and maintenance records.
- Follow safety and environmental compliance standards.
