Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Counsellor – New Zealand to drive student counselling, application conversions, and associate engagement for New Zealand as a key destination, including applications sourced through sub-agents and partner networks. The role focuses on guiding applicants through the entire journey from counselling and assessments to enrolment and visa filing while ensuring high conversion rates and compliance.
Responsibilities
● Assess student profiles and recommend suitable courses and institutions in New Zealand.
● Handle queries from walk-ins, direct leads, and associate pipelines related to New Zealand admissions.
● Drive conversions from counselling to application enrolments.
● Guide students on SOPs, applications, and interview preparation specific to New Zealand institutions.
● Provide and manage end-to-end visa guidance and filing support for New Zealand student visas.
● Handle end-to-end New Zealand student visa filing in coordination with the visa team.
● Review and verify financial documents, SOPs, and supporting documents for visa compliance.
● Ensure alignment of applications with New Zealand visa requirements (genuine student intent/GTE).
● Track visa applications, updates, and outcomes, and proactively resolve issues.
● Coordinate with admissions and visa teams for smooth application processing.
● Review and manage student applications received from associate recruitment partners and B2B pipeline, ensuring quality, completeness, and alignment with institutional requirements.
● Review and support visa documentation for applications to ensure compliance and approval readiness.
● Coordinate with partners for document collection, updates, and issue resolution to ensure timely submissions.
● Build, manage, and grow relationships with partners to drive consistent application pipelines.
● Conduct training sessions for associates and internal teams on New Zealand education systems and processes.
● Maintain accurate student records and regularly update CRM systems.
● Stay updated with New Zealand admission requirements, visa policies, and immigration updates.
● Ensure consistent follow-ups with prospective students and associates to drive application progression.
● Ensure accuracy and compliance in documentation as per institutional and visa requirements.
● Monitor and improve conversion rates from partners ensuring performance and accountability.
● Maintain high visa success rates through strong quality checks and compliance adherence.
● Own end-to-end student conversion targets and contribute to monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
Requirements
● Minimum 2 years of experience in international student counselling, with a focus on New Zealand.
● Strong knowledge of the New Zealand education system, universities, colleges, and student visa filing processes.
● Proven track record of achieving conversion targets and driving revenue growth.
● Excellent communication, counselling, and organisational skills.
● Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
● Experience working with partner networks and managing B2B pipelines is preferred.
● Experience of working in Australia is preferred

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
