Position: MIS Executive (Level 2)
Location: On-site (Kolkata)
Position Overview
The Level 2 MIS Executive will play a critical role in managing and analysing business operations across warehousing, vendor management, and marketplace sales. The position involves ensuring system integrity, tracking performance, auditing vendors, managing custom quotes, and maintaining process efficiency through structured SOPs. This role demands a balance of analytical ability, operational oversight, and proactive issue resolution to support decision-making and optimize business outcomes.
Responsibilities
1. Warehousing Analysis – Evaluate SKUs received via VDM requests, internal analysis, or leadership instructions to determine warehouse stocking or stock-blocking feasibility.
2. Inventory Optimization – Conduct warehouse analysis to optimize stock levels, reordering, and vendor stocking strategies.
3. Amazon B2B Quotes – Respond to all custom quote requests under the Amazon B2B program promptly and accurately.
4. Coupon & Sales Adjustments – Apply coupons strategically on SKUs where Kartit does not have the buy box; monitor and track daily sales performance of these SKUs.
5. Shipping Comparison – Compare carrier shipping costs and recommend the most cost-effective options to optimize logistics.
6. AMFPP Analysis – Conduct competitive analysis of SKUs where buy box prices significantly differ from competitors and recommend adjustments.
7. System Integrity Management – Review integrity emails, assign them to the correct HOD/team members, and ensure follow-up actions are taken.
8. Vendor Audits – Audit new vendors before onboarding, raise observations, and coordinate clarifications with Partners Connect Team/VDMs.
9. JIRA Card Management – Create, track, and update JIRA issue cards, ensuring timely follow-ups and modifications as required.
10. SOP Development – Draft and update SOPs for MIS processes to ensure standardization, clarity, and efficiency.
11. Amazon Sales Data Consolidation – Maintain and update consolidated Amazon sales data in Google Sheets for analysis and reporting.
12. Buy Box Lost Report Analysis – Use EMS reports to identify SKUs where the buy box is lost, implement corrective measures, and ensure retention of buy box ownership.
13. Vendor Review – Conduct vendors audits before onboarding and share observations with VDM/Partner Teams.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Data Analytics, or a related field.
2. 2–3 years of experience in MIS, data analysis, or e-commerce operations (preferably with Amazon/marketplace platforms).
3. Knowledge of warehousing, vendor management, and sales operations will be an advantage.
4. Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel.
Key Skills & Competencies
1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and data consolidation.
3. Experience with JIRA or similar ticketing tools.
4. Knowledge of Amazon marketplace tools, BB (Buy Box) tracking, and coupon application.
5. Detail-oriented with the ability to audit, track, and verify vendor and process compliance.
6. Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.
7. Process-oriented mindset with the ability to develop and maintain SOPs.
8. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and meet deadlines.
