Role Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Partner - Audit & Assurance / Statutory Audit to lead and expand our Audit practice. The selected candidate will oversee statutory audit assignments, ensure technical excellence, manage client relationships, and drive business development initiatives. This leadership role requires balancing operational delivery with strategic growth while mentoring and developing teams.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Practice Leadership & Quality Management :
- Lead and oversee the firms Audit & Assurance function across multiple clients and industries.
- Ensure high-quality execution of statutory audits, tax audits, and limited reviews in accordance with ICAI and Companies Act requirements.
- Implement and maintain robust internal quality control systems and audit methodologies.
- Review final deliverables, including financial statements, audit reports, CARO reports, and related documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and firm policies.
2. Business Development & Client Relationship Management :
- Drive business growth through acquisition of new clients and expansion of services to existing clients.
- Identify cross-functional opportunities across service lines such as Taxation, Advisory, and Risk.
- Build and maintain relationships with promoters, CFOs, and senior management teams of client organizations.
- Represent the firm in professional and industry forums to enhance market visibility and credibility.
- Contribute to strategic planning and market positioning initiatives.
3. Team Leadership & People Development :
- Lead a team of Managers, Seniors, and Articles, ensuring effective delegation, review, and supervision.
- Mentor and coach team members on audit methodology, client management, and professional conduct.
- Foster a collaborative, performance-driven, and learning-oriented work environment.
- Participate in recruitment, capability development, and succession planning for the Audit practice.
4. Technical Advisory & Compliance :
- Remain updated on developments in auditing, accounting, and regulatory requirements, including IND AS, IFRS, CARO, and Companies Act provisions.
- Provide technical guidance to clients on complex financial reporting and compliance matters.
- Support the development of technical notes, audit tools, and knowledge resources for the firm.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and professional bodies such as ROC, MCA, and ICAI, as required.

Qualification & Experience :
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.
- 16 - 25 years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit and Assurance services, preferably with a reputed mid-sized or large professional services firm.
- Proven experience in client relationship management, practice leadership, and team development.
- Strong exposure to financial reporting frameworks, regulatory compliance, and audit quality standards.

Pay: ₹6,000,000.00 - ₹7,000,000.00 per year
