Job Summary
Gopalan Group of Institutions is inviting applications from enthusiastic and dedicated candidates for the position of Assistant Professor – Physics. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for mentoring undergraduate students while contributing to academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures in Physics for undergraduate (Degree) students.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and question papers.
- Conduct laboratory sessions and ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and examinations.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and research activities.
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings.
- Support NAAC/NBA accreditation activities and maintain academic documentation.
- Organize seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and other academic events.
- Participate in college committees and institutional development initiatives.
- Stay updated with advancements in Physics and modern teaching methodologies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics (NET/KSET/Ph.D. preferred as per UGC norms).
- Freshers with excellent academic records may apply.
- Prior teaching experience in Degree Colleges is preferred.

- Ability to handle Physics laboratory sessions.

Pay: ₹10,001.17 - ₹48,209.63 per month
