Job Summary: The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the company. This role involves greeting visitors, answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, and providing general administrative support to the team.
We are looking for a presentable candidate with good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and presentable.
- Receive and sort daily mail, deliveries, and couriers.
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Provide basic information to visitors and clients about the company.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Support the HR department with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
