ROLE OVERVIEW
The Play Zone Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day operations, staff coordination, safety, customer experience, party bookings, and vendor coordination. This role requires strong ownership, clarity in communication, and the ability to independently manage play area and party operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operations Management
- Open and close the play zone daily.
- Ensure play area, party area, toilets, and common areas are operational and safe.
- Monitor cleanliness, lighting, AC, music, POS, and equipment functionality.
- Ensure socks policy and wristband system are strictly followed.
- Maintain discipline and safety standards at all times.
2. Staff Supervision
- Manage and coordinate: 2 Play Area Caretakers & 1 Housekeeping staff.
- Allocate daily duties and zones.
- Ensure staff punctuality, grooming, and behaviour.
- Enforce SOPs and checklists.
- Handle staff breaks and day-to-day issues.
3. Party Bookings & Execution
- Clearly explain party packages and add-ons to customers.
- Independently handle party enquiries and bookings.
- Collect advance payments and issue receipts.
- Maintain party booking register and summary sheets.
- Brief staff before each party.
- Ensure smooth party execution and time adherence.
- Collect balance payments and close party accounts.
4. Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with external vendors for:
- Food catering, Party décor, Cake suppliers & Entertainment / add-on vendors.
- Confirm:
- Party date & time, Package details & Deliverables.
- Ensure vendors arrive on time and set up as per plan.
- Act as single point of contact between vendors and management.
- Report any vendor issues immediately.
5. Customer Handling
- Act as first point of escalation for parents.
- Handle complaints calmly and professionally.
- Ensure a positive experience for kids and parents.
- Avoid conflicts and escalate to management when required.
6. Cash, Records & Reporting
- Monitor POS transactions and cash handling
- Daily reconciliation of sales and collections
- Maintain:
- Incident register
- Party booking records
- Vendor coordination notes
- Share daily updates with management
7. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure child safety at all times.
- Monitor play equipment usage.
- Ensure fire exits and fire access panels are not blocked.
- Handle minor incidents responsibly and report immediately.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in:
- Play zones / kids activity centres / hospitality / events
- Strong communication and people-handling skills
- Ability to manage vendors and staff independently
- Basic comfort with POS systems and cash handling
- Calm temperament and problem-solving mindset
- High sense of ownership and accountability

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
