Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Civil Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to approved drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate with engineers, contractors, and labor teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all on-site civil construction activities.
- Labour management and ensuring smooth workflor.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate daily activities of laborers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor work progress and report daily site activities to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.
- Verify levels, dimensions, alignment, and quality of workmanship.
- Ensure proper use of materials and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate material deliveries and maintain site inventory.
- Maintain site safety standards and ensure workers follow safety procedures.
- Assist in planning daily work schedules and achieving project milestones.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with engineers to resolve them promptly.
- Maintain site records, attendance, and daily progress reports.
- Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of the construction site.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of RCC work, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and quality control.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings and basic MS Excel is preferred.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of construction sequencing and site execution.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in residential or commercial building projects.
- Understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
