To be fully conversant with the Maritime Labour Convention, and in particular the “Seafarer Recruitment and Placement” section to which must be adhered too and followed at all times
- Maintain complete familiarity with the company’s recruitment process, and documentation requirements.
- Regularly update and manage the Company Recruitment Database with information of all contacted seafarers and follow-ups.
- Coordinate and assign appropriate screening assessments and technical interviews for shortlisted candidates, ensuring efficient selection and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate the scheduling of in-house training programs for selected candidates
- Verify the authenticity and validity of all certificates, CDCs, and Certificates of Competency (COCs) for all new joiners.
- Undertake additional administrative or office-related duties as may be assigned by the Manager, in line with company policies and procedures.
