About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Data Mart & BI Engineer who can build and manage scalable data systems that help business teams make faster and smarter decisions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, building ETL/data pipelines, organizing business data into structured reporting layers, and enabling meaningful insights through BI tools.
The candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and data modelling, along with experience working on ERP/business data from industries such as Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, or Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable Data Marts and Data Warehouse solutions from scratch
- Develop ETL/data pipelines to extract, clean, transform, and load data from multiple business systems
- Create efficient data models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema for reporting and analytics
- Build structured reporting layers to support business dashboards and decision-making
- Work with ERP/business application data such as SAP, Oracle, or Infor LN
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance for large datasets
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, governance, and reliability across systems
- Collaborate with business, finance, operations, and reporting teams to understand reporting requirements
- Support BI dashboards and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau
Must Have Skills
- 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing / BI Engineering
- Strong hands-on SQL expertise (advanced queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
- Experience building Data Warehouses or Data Marts from scratch
- Strong understanding of:
- Star Schema
- Snowflake Schema
- Fact & Dimension Tables
- Data Modelling
- Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development
- Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL / Snowflake or similar databases
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle / Infor LN
- Experience with Power BI / Tableau or similar BI tools
