Associate Software Engineer / Software Engineer I – Java Backend

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Backend Software Engineer who enjoys solving challenging problems and building scalable backend systems. You will work with experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade applications using modern Java technologies.
This role is ideal for engineers with strong Java fundamentals, solid Data Structures & Algorithms knowledge, and hands-on experience building backend projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable backend services following clean architecture principles.
- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT and Spring Security.
- Design relational database schemas and write optimized SQL queries.
- Develop event-driven applications using Kafka or similar messaging systems.
- Improve application performance using Redis caching.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Work with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and system design discussions.
