Role Summary:
Responsible for supervising and managing all maintenance activities during assigned shifts in the hospital, ensuring uninterrupted functioning of equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance staff (electricians, plumbers, technicians) during the shift
- Ensure smooth operation of hospital utilities (power supply, HVAC, water systems, medical gases, etc.)
- Monitor breakdowns and ensure immediate troubleshooting and resolution
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities
- Coordinate with biomedical and engineering teams for critical maintenance
- Maintain logbooks, shift reports, and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital standards
- Handle emergency situations (power failure, equipment breakdown, etc.)
- Ensure proper shift handover and communication with next shift team
Skills Required:
- Strong technical knowledge of hospital maintenance systems
- Leadership and team handling skills
- Problem-solving and quick decision-making ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in emergency situations
Preferred Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in hospital or facility maintenance
- Experience in handling utilities like DG sets, HVAC, UPS, and plumbing systems
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
