- Coordinate class and flag requirements with superintendents to ensure vessel seaworthiness and commercial readiness.
- Manage the preparation of technical specifications and logistics for vessel flag changes and ownership transfers.
- Source and vet contractors for the repair and service of technical items offloaded from vessels.
- Support the dry-docking process by compiling planning specifications, reviewing quotes, and monitoring budget deviations.
- Maintain the accuracy of all trading certificates and essential vessel documentation for audit readiness.
- Execute the full purchasing lifecycle by issuing purchase orders and ensuring correct delivery of spares and stores.
- Negotiate with suppliers and review contracts to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality service standards.
- Monitor spare parts readiness and coordinate timely deliveries in alignment with fleet operations and personnel.
- Administer and enforce ISO procedures and company policies regarding shipboard purchase activities.
- Update and maintain critical technical records including supply logs, gas bottle inventories, and vessel expense reports.
- Bachelor degree from a recognized institution
- At least 2 years of procurement experience within an established ship management company
- Strong fundamental knowledge of technical, purchasing, and maritime logistics processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication systems
- Excellent command of written and spoken English for daily vessel correspondence
- A strong flair for numbers and experience in price negotiation and evaluation
- Familiarity with ISO procedures and maritime EPS manuals is preferred
