Job Description – Safety Officer
Position: Safety Officer
Experience: 0–2 Years
Industry: Construction / Interior Fit-out
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and statutory regulations at project sites.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness training for workers.
- Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure good housekeeping and safe working practices across the site.
- Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to implement corrective and preventive safety measures.
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of construction and interior fit-out safety practices.
- Understanding of PPE requirements, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
- Knowledge of Work at Height, scaffold, ladder, electrical, and fire safety.
- Awareness of excavation, material handling, and hand/power tool safety.
- Basic understanding of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, including Hot Work, Work at Height, and Confined Space permits.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
