Job Title: Senior Architect – Interior & Architectural Design Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Experience: 4–8 Years Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Architecture / Interior Design / Construction Job Summary We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in architectural design, interior design, working drawings, 2D/3D visualization, client coordination, and site execution. The candidate will be responsible for handling projects from concept development to execution, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, and ensuring projects are completed as per design, quality, and timelines. Key Responsibilities - Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed design proposals. - Prepare 2D drawings, working drawings, elevations, sections, and construction drawings. - Develop and review 3D models, views, and presentations. - Coordinate architectural and interior design requirements with clients. - Conduct site visits and monitor design implementation and execution. - Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and site teams. - Review drawings and ensure accuracy before execution. - Handle design modifications based on client requirements and site conditions. - Ensure projects meet required design standards, quality, timelines, and specifications. - Prepare material selections, design presentations, and project documentation. - Identify and resolve design and site-related issues. - Manage multiple projects and coordinate with junior architects/designers. - Participate in client meetings and provide professional design recommendations. - Ensure smooth coordination between design, estimation, procurement, and execution teams. Required Skills - Strong knowledge of Architectural Design & Interior Design. - Proficiency in AutoCAD. - Knowledge of SketchUp / 3ds Max / Revit / Lumion / V-Ray will be an advantage. - Good understanding of architectural drawings and construction details. - Knowledge of building materials, finishes, and construction methods. - Strong site coordination and execution knowledge. - Good communication and client-handling skills. - Ability to manage projects independently. - Strong attention to detail and design sense. Eligibility - Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent. - 4–8 years of relevant experience in Architecture / Interior Design / Construction. - Candidates with experience handling projects independently are preferred. - Portfolio of completed projects is required. Preferred Candidate We are looking for candidates who are: - Creative and technically strong. - Experienced in handling projects from concept to execution. - Comfortable with both office-based design work and site visits. - Good at client communication and team coordination. - Able to work independently and meet project deadlines. - Available to join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
