About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior MERN Stack Developer who is passionate about building scalable web applications while leading a team of developers. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in the MERN stack, excellent communication skills, and proven experience mentoring teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving projects from concept to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Lead and mentor a team of developers by providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Break down project requirements into technical tasks and assign work effectively within the team.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and estimations.
- Ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high development standards.
- Communicate project status, technical challenges, and solutions clearly with stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.
- Strong expertise in:
- React.js
- Node.js
- Express.js
- MongoDB
- JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Good understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
- Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of AWS/GCP or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and scalable architecture.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Leadership & Communication
- Proven experience leading a development team of 4–10 engineers.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Experience in code reviews, performance feedback, and technical interviews.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage project priorities.
- Strong ownership mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
