We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Modular Kitchen Designer who enjoys interacting with clients and ensuring projects move smoothly from concept to installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand their lifestyle, space, and design requirements.
- Create functional and aesthetically pleasing modular kitchen layouts.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop realistic 3D designs using SketchUp or similar software.
- Suggest suitable materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories.
- Take or verify site measurements whenever required.
- Prepare production drawings and design revisions.
- Coordinate with the production and installation teams to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Act as the communication link between clients and internal teams throughout the project.
- Keep clients informed about design updates, approvals, and project progress.
- Resolve design-related queries during manufacturing or installation.
- Ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
Required Skills
- Experience in Modular Kitchen or Interior Design.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D).
- Good working knowledge of SketchUp for 3D visualization.
- Understanding of modular kitchen planning and space optimization.
- Ability to interpret site measurements and prepare production drawings.
- Good communication and client handling skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in modular kitchen or interior design.
- Experience with stainless steel modular kitchens is an added advantage.
