The Role
We're hiring an Inbound Sales Specialist who owns the top of the funnel and drives it to qualified demos. Your primary job is to work the inbound signup pipeline, qualify high-intent users fast, and book demos. You'll also occasionally run demos and support closing on straightforward deals.
This is not a passive role. You need sharp judgment on who to prioritize, speed on follow-up, and genuine curiosity about the customer's outbound setup.
Responsibilities
Pipeline and Qualification (core)
- Work the inbound signup pool daily, prioritise based on usage signals, firmographics, and sending intent
- Reach out via email, phone, and chat to qualify leads and book demos
- Maintain accurate CRM hygiene and pipeline forecasting at all times
- Coordinate with Marketing on MQL handoffs and high-intent user flags
Demos and Closing (supporting)
- Run product demos for qualified prospects, focused on their deliverability and warm-up needs
- Support closing on straightforward $1K to $2K ACV deals
- Identify expansion signals and flag upsell-ready accounts to the founding team
Who You Are
- 1 to 3 years in a B2B SaaS sales role (SDR, BDR, or inside sales)
- Understand cold email and outbound ecosystems well enough to have credible conversations
- Fast, disciplined follow-up is something you take personally
- Comfortable in high-volume environments where prioritisation determines output
- Familiar with sales metrics: MRR, ARR, ACV, churn, pipeline coverage
What Success Looks Like in 60 Days
- Demo pipeline is consistently full and accurately logged
- Response and follow-up SLAs are being hit daily
- First assisted closes are on the board
- Objection patterns and competitor questions are being documented
