Roles and responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payables and Receivables for the company's international warehouse operations, ensuring timely processing of vendor invoices, customer payments, and account reconciliations.
- Handle accounting transactions related to warehouses located in Rotterdam, Los Angeles, New Jersey, Montreal, and Italy, including inventory releases, warehouse charges, freight, and customer billing.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Manage foreign currency transactions, including inward and outward remittances, exchange rate accounting, and coordination with banks for forex settlements.
- Prepare and verify export and international trade documentation, including commercial invoices, LC, TT, SWIFT, and other banking documents in compliance with FEMA and RBI guidelines.
- Coordinate with overseas warehouse teams to reconcile inventory releases, stock movements, and related financial transactions.
- Assist in monthly and year-end financial closing, maintain general ledgers, and support management reporting and statutory audits.
- Update accounting records and financial transactions accurately in Tally and Zoho Books on a daily basis.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of warehouse accounts, customer collections, and vendor payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards
