Job Title: Estimation Engineer – Control Panels
Department: Estimation / Electrical Engineering
Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Job Summary:
The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate technical and cost estimates for
electrical control panels, including MCCs, PCCs, PLC, and automation panels. This role
involves reviewing client specifications, creating detailed BOMs, and coordinating with vendors
and internal teams to ensure competitive and precise pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
● Review RFQs, tender documents, and technical specifications for control panel projects.
● Prepare detailed cost estimations, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and pricing for panels.
● Select appropriate components like PLCs, relays, breakers, contactors, VFDs, etc.,
based on client specs.
● Liaise with the design team for layout and GA drawings if required for bidding.
● Coordinate with procurement for vendor quotes and price negotiations.
● Maintain a database of component costs and supplier contacts.
● Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, UL).
● Prepare technical proposals and cost sheets for submission to clients.
● Support the sales team with technical clarifications during bidding.
Requirements:
● 2+ years of experience in estimation for control panel or electrical systems.
● Familiar with electrical components and panel board design (LV/MV).
● Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/estimation tools.
● Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹11,861.23 - ₹42,558.35 per month
