HR MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: HR Manager
Department: Human Resources
Experience: 8–15+ Years
Preferred Profile: Senior & Experienced HR Professional
Key Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership of the HR Department, including policies, processes, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Develop, implement, review, and maintain company HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper implementation of company rules, regulations, and HR guidelines across all departments.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, confirmation, transfers, performance management, and exit formalities.
- Establish and monitor effective HR systems, processes, and documentation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of employee records, attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and HR MIS.
- Coordinate with management and department heads on manpower planning and organizational requirements.
- Lead the performance appraisal and performance management process.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Review and improve HR policies based on business requirements and organizational needs.
- Handle employee disciplinary actions, warnings, notices, and performance-related matters in coordination with management.
- Develop systems for employee engagement, retention, rewards, recognition, and career development.
- Guide and supervise the HR team and ensure effective delegation of responsibilities.
- Act as a key point of contact between management and employees.
- Provide regular HR reports, MIS, manpower updates, and policy-related recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Take independent ownership of HR matters and provide mature, practical, and management-oriented solutions.
Candidate Profile
- 8–15+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a growing organization.
- Strong experience in HR policy development and implementation.
- Proven ability to independently manage and lead the HR function/department.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, performance management, and statutory compliance.
- Should have a mature, responsible, and authoritative approach to handling employees and organizational matters.
- Strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Candidates with experience in policy-making and complete HR department ownership will be preferred.
- Senior and experienced candidates are preferred for this position.
