Offenso Hackers Academy is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Cyber Security Trainer to mentor aspiring ethical hackers and cybersecurity professionals. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to guide students through practical, real-world cybersecurity scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and online training sessions in Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking.
- Train students on topics including Networking, Linux, Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, Web Application Security, Active Directory, Cloud Security, Digital Forensics, Malware Analysis, and Security Operations.
- Conduct hands-on labs, Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges, and live demonstrations.
- Design, update, and improve training materials, presentations, assignments, and lab environments.
- Mentor students on projects, certifications, internships, and career development.
- Assess student performance through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, tools, and industry trends.
- Support curriculum development and introduce new cybersecurity technologies into training programs.
- Assist placement activities by conducting mock interviews, resume reviews, and technical assessments.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, webinars, and promotional events representing Offenso Hackers Academy.
- Collaborate with academic and operations teams to ensure high-quality training delivery.
- Deliver training programs for both Offenso Hackers Academy and Offenso Techschool as required.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP, Routing & Switching.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows environments.
- Expertise in Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing.
- Knowledge of Web Application Security (OWASP Top 10).
- Experience with Active Directory Security.
- Familiarity with Cloud Security concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Security Operations, SIEM, and Incident Response is an advantage.
- Proficiency with cybersecurity tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Nessus, Hydra, and Kali Linux.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, or Information Security.
- Prior experience as a trainer, mentor, or technical instructor is preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CEH, PNPT, eJPT, eCPPT, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, CISSP, or equivalent are an added advantage.
